So yeah. Culture Shock was this weekend. (Music festival type deal. It was held on campus.) Wasn't so much into the festival myself, but Julie Dave and I managed to get some fun out of the event ourselves. (Yay shrooms!)
I actually thought the music there was... well, kinda bad. Most of it fit somewhere in the range of really fucking bad to 'just okay.' I guess there were a couple good bands, from what I've heard from people, but really that was a rarity. But whatever. I didn't stay for the music xD
GOSH I don't want to do my homeworkkkk. I still have to do a painting tonight. I've agreed to play hide-and-seek with the guys tonight, so guess I wont be getting to the painting until... uh... sometime after that >.>
I ordered the soundtrack from the movie 'The Fountain' off Amazon a couple weeks ago, and can I say, I think it's pretty awesome. Especially the first track, 'The Last Man.' My god. Such beautiful solo work. I actually think it's a viola, but I'm not sure >_> I tried looking it up but I couldn't find it. At any rate, I think it's just lovely - if it is the violist, then Hank Dutt does an absolutely outstanding job of making his instrument sound almost like a human voice. You can almost hear the voice cracking when the emotion swells. God, it's so sorrowful and beautiful. LOVE IT.
Haaaaaa. I just sounded totally emo. I'M NOT. HAHA.
Wtf? I talked a lot about music. I like... never do that O_o How simply odd.
...okay bye.
