I Am Not:

-A snooty art student
-Pretentious
-Obsessed with Starbucks
-Middle aged and going through a creative mid-life crisis
-A Hipster

However, despite all of this, I've finally done it. I've fallen for the hype. Mostly I just want to know what all the hullabaloo is about, and really, I've never run across a sheet of blank paper I couldn't make use of. So, even if it doesn't live up to all that hype, I'm sure I'll still make use of it somehow.

What the hell hell am I talking about? Well, I've finally joined the legions of art students/hipsters/ middle-aged journalers/the few completely unpretentious people who just so happen to like them, and bought myself a moleskine notebook.

Not gonna lie. There's so much hype surrounding them that I'm kind of excited to see what the deal is about - and being someone who's pretty much obsessed with blank journals in any form, (I could browse the fancy-ass journal section of B&N and/or the much more practical notebook section of Office Depot alike for hours, I am NOT EVEN EXAGGERATING*,) whether it's as orgasmically amazing as everyone seems to think moleskines are or not, I'm still getting a blank journal out of the deal so I win no matter what yesssss

I mean, really. Just the fact that I deem this topic interesting enough to post about shows just how obsessed with blank journals I am. Amazon better hurry up with my order ;A;

* - And I know I'm not the only one - this seems to be a trait found in most art students. I am somehow reminded of a long ago trip to Office Depot with Sarah. The image of her running towards the pen section, flailing her arms and going "Office supplies!" is a fond memory indeed.
